:agree:
sure as hell arent going to find someone willing to face a fanbase that goes completely apeshit after Every loss , and doesnt see any link to the loss of half the o line or the qb who has started for 3 years. What we need is for Jesus to put in an ap but then again he wouldnt know half as much as "The Greatest Fans Ever"

yep --- the coaches in the line-up are scared stiff to come to the Husker Land

they would rather settle fer the little jobs and make a name for themselves

You do mean after the Solich firing don't you? When Pelini interviewed but was not even a legitmate candidate? Of course at that point we actually had a coach who competed within his division.

Unfortunately the choices at that point were very limited because.... should I say it?

At that point our coach was respected within the industry.

Today our coach is a fucking buffoon. To even compare trying to hire a coach after the firing of Solich to hiring a coach today is absolute buffoonery.

You have one coach who though young in his career had the mentoring of one of the greatest coaches in ncaa football but needed to grow through his own issues and compare him to another coach who can't even deal with a bad call because he is incapable of coaching a team to respond beyond said bad calls.

after the firing of Callahahn

it was a deep search fer available Coaches willing to step up to the Husker Nation sir

and a lot of them knew better --they know the tradition and expectation of the Husker crowd

Let's get Frank Solich back! He should have never been fired in the first place.

Okay, let's assume the football gods decide we have paid the price for previous sins and Pelini is gone.......Who is out there now? Who can pick up where we are right now and put us in the play offs next year?

Pat Narduzzi.

Pat Narduzzi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I was sort of hoping Sark at UW would crash and burn and we'd go after Narduzzi. However if not UW I would love to see him in Lincoln.

He's a guy that should be a HC by now. Has the resume, has class and has a proven track record everywhere he has coached.

Plus you get to poach him from Sparty.

Whats not to love?

On the op choice of Sweater Vest. I don't think he's ever going to return to coaching. I could see him taking an AD position somewhere before coaching again. He's also got to be approved by the NCAA to be able to accept a position. He's basically on probation until 2016.

I wouldnt want Franklin. I'm not a fan of offensive background head coaches. I know Pelini had the defensive pedigree, and he has done well on the field (inconsistent and under achieved actually but 8-9 win seasons is a lot better than 7 win seasons, trust me), he's just a nut job asshole. Stick to a defensive minded HC. It's the path to championships.

Kirby Smarts an interesting choice that you couldn't go wrong with. I just prefer Narduzzi myself.

Pretty obvious, Bo wants to be fired.

I have had his feeling at a job before. I decided if a job made me miserable I would just quit it. Yes, it caused financial problems, but I was much happier. The saying you can't put a price on happiness is true.

1. His personal foul.
2. His comment about comparing to Kirk Ferentz not being flagged but he is flagged, chickenshit.
3. The B1G Officials have him marked now, just like the Big 12 officials did. No Nebraska team with Bo Pelini as coach will get a call now.
4. The fake punt at the Nebraska 30. Didn't Ferentz say he would never get burned on a fake punt again? Who made that call, Els or Pelini? Which ever one did, needs to be fired. 17-10, the defense was playing well as long as the offense did not give Iowa the ball on the Nebraska side. Oops.
5. Challenging Nebraska to fire him? What? How stupid is that? What he is actually saying is FIRE ME, I WANT TO GO. Just end it, because he won't walk away from the $3,000,000 per year.
6. Bo telling the reporter he was not going to make a radio show because he won't be at Nebraska in two days anyway.
7. The halftime response to the reporter as he was leaving the field. Reporters must just love to have Bo because they know Bo will say anything and sound controversial while doing it.

Just fire Bo and move on. In my opinion, Bo Pelini no longer wants to be head coach at Nebraska. Bo has come to grips with the situation. The pressure has gotten to him. Bo is miserable and he will inflict misery on those around him.

In defense of the coaches, having Ron Kellogg throw two interceptions on the first two possessions was not the fault of any of the coaches. Maybe Beck for asking RK to make throws he does not seem to be able to make. RK seems to be a vertical thrower, not a pin point thrower.

Whoever the next coach is, has to have won as a coach before at the college level. Be better if they had won at Division III, then moved to Division II and did it, and then did at the FBS level would be a bonus.

With that, checking out of the hotel, and getting on the road.

 and fuck them guy's.. Are the expectation of the Nebraska fans to high. :finger: them!!!

I would say: NO.

I don't expect to win every game, but cot dam it; we better be competitive, fundamentally sound and at least look like we know what the fuck we're doing out there.

Here's my 'expectations' for Nebraska football.

Consistent Top 10, with occasional 11-20, and very rare 20-25.

More often then not that's where this program resides. This year it's highly doubtful they'll even finish ranked.

Nebraska is firmly seated in Bogatory.

UCLA wtf
Sota tougher team than I expected but we shoulda won
MSU. Turnovers..... Take away the 5 turnovers and I think we would have won
Iowa. no excuse for losing to Iowa ever
