If Trestman gets fired, there is no way Fisher will jettison Shottenheimer and hire Trestman. That would be devastating to this fragile offense to have to learn a new offense in the middle of the season. In fact, I don't know of anyone who would do that unless there is a complete collapse. Even the Raiders wouldn't do that.

Here is how it will go down. Fisher will be told if he wants to stay, Shotty must be gone. They will allow him to choose someone else, but Shotty must be let go. If we are starting with a new QB in 2015, that QB needs an OC that fits him, whoever he is.

Honestly, I hope I am correct in saying Fisher tells Snead no I will not fire my guy and they let the lot of them go. Hire Darell Beavell away from Seattle and have him bring either Dan Quinn or Ken Norton Jr with him to run the defense and snag Mike McCoy from Denver to run the offense. I know it might be a pipe dream, but why not?
