What happens in the playoffs, does Georgia Tech get in?

Not many overly impressive wins, they would have 3 wins against ranked opponents (Georgia, FSU and Clemson) and 4 more wins over bowl eligible opponents (3 are 6-6).

Doubtful. they would choose from the list of 1 loss teams first. but my guess is FSU would not be counted in the list of 1 loss teams at that point.

Not a chance. Arizona/Oregon winner would be ahead of them. TCU would be ahead of them.

Even if chaos ensued next week(Missouri over Bama, Wisconsin over Ohio State, Kansas State over Baylor) they'd still be on the outside looking in IMO.

Not sure that would be chaos. Wisconsin should be favored imo just because of the injury.

Im not sure Missouri of Bama does anything. I have the gut feeling that if that somehow happens, Alabama is still in the playoff and Missouri isnt.

it would be chaos if one or two top-4 teams also lost.... it would make things a lot easier if tOSU loses, and everyone else wins

As a GT fan...we should have taken care of business against Duke and UNC. If we win we'll be going to the Orange Bowl and if we win that we will hopefully finish in the top 10 for the first time in a very long time.

a 1 loss fsu team should get in over all 2 loss teams. they scheduled. they are the only team in the country that will play 12 power 5 teams. u can say that half of them were scrubs but it shouldn't matter imo. if u don't show up against a power 5 time you will struggle. u can no show against the lower level teams and still win easily.

If Ohio State wins, by one point or by a dozen, the Committee is taking them. That's a one-loss conference champ.

The problem is, they're not going to win.

It'll depend on how close that game is in conjunction with what happens to teams behind them. They may only fall 4 or 5 spots in the polls if they play extremely well but lose on some BS pass interference call, clock management issue, etc... But the standard polls will be irrelevant. The committee may still think they are one of the four most deserving teams.

I doubt there will be too many movers or shakers from here on out.
