Well the thing for me to really question is why is he unhappy in Boston? Talent wise, he'd be a huge upgrade to any team. But even if we trade for Brown, the Warriors still have the same holes and tbh, I'm not sure Boston get's any better. Both teams are in win-now mode.
A starting 5 of Brown, Curry, Klay, Dray, and Looney doesn't have a lot of holes. Need to fortify the bench (Poole, Moody, then ?)

Both teams probably.

Why you so quick to trade Wiggins always?
I like Wiggins but you aren't getting Brown without including him. I like Brown more.

Brown for Darius Garland makes the most sense

They have 2 SF's and need a PG. The Cavs have 2 PG's and need a SF. Logical swap that benefits both teams imo
Cleveland would have to include more. Brown is 2nd team all NBA.

He is a better version of the same player.

And you are giving a lot of assets for a moderate upgrade.

Not a good deal.

Use Kuminga to upgrade a piece alongside Curry and Wiggins.

Fair enough, as you say the Brown trade is probably a pipe dream.

Except that Brown is a much better player than Darius Garland. You want to swap Embiid for Jarrett Allen too? Would you be willing to ship out Okoro for Jason Tatum? Tough call.

the new CBA means the warriors option for upgrading that spot is basically poole and whatever picks they got.

...do they need to make big changes? Lotta chatter here on the radio says yes and it sounds like some of you Boston fans think the same.

Brown for Wiggins, Poole, Kuminga, and picks....who says no?
BOSTON. Money doesn't match.

Why would Boston go way into the luxury for a nice 3rd option and a volume, inefficient shooter with an extremely overinflated contract. Sure they get Kuminga but this seems like a situation is quantity better than quality? Not in this case. Brown has been arguably a 1A for Boston in the playoffs these last two years.

Trade Wiggins to Cleveland. Perfect fit. It's too bad they extended Looney bc Jarrett Allen would be a nice piece in GS. Since that isn't happening they trade Wiggins to CLE and then trade Poole and Kuminga separately in another deal.

GS gets: LeVert, Okoro, future 2nd(s)

CLE gets: Wiggins, salary filler

Gives GS more depth. Okoro is a nice piece, you know he is giving you solid defense, he had a stretch where he was knocking down the 3. Seems like a guy GS could form into a nice player. LeVert is a better defender than Poole, cheaper and shot a career high 3 pt % last year.

Yeah gotta be more than that. They could throw in another player like Okoro or Allen, Boston includes a role player or something. Garland would be a perfect fit in Boston imo. They have elite defenders and shooters around him. He would have a field day.

It would be hard parting with Garland even getting back Brown but I think it works for both teams. Both teams likely say no though.

According to Q it may not even be possible under the new CBA. I never understood that stuff in detail and now I really don't. But to me that seems like a big win for the Ws at the expense of the far future (Kuminga)

Then they can pay Brown when Dray and Klay are off the books?

Do you think they are really coming off the books? Both could retire as Warriors.

Besides, there's a $20M gap. Would be more like Brown for Garland/Allen.

If they bring in Brown they probably have to let them go. That's pretty unlikely though. And even if they don't bring in Brown, Draymond might leave after next year.

I don't see Brown getting traded to the Warriors. This is fantasy stuff IMO.
