This. LVE’s injury has me concerned, but not as concerned as I would be for Littleton playing for the Raiders. He may be a tackle machine though. But you may be nitpicking here. They may end up within 10pts of each other by the end of the season.

LVE... Raiders defense is a dumpster fire every year. Littleton is more likely to regress his 2019 production than to match or exceed it.

I'd go Littleton. Tackles will transfer anywhere and I'd almost rather have the guy on the worse team because their defense is going to spend a lot of time on the field.

Tahir Whitehead was the starting ILB for the Raiders defense last year. He started all 16 games and only had ~80 total tackles last year (108 combined). That was good enough for 69th finish in standard IDP.

It's close for me but I would probably go Littleton for a couple reasons.

Vander Esch is injury prone, always a concern.
Have you seen that Raiders LB core? Honestly, I haven't heard of most of those guys. So Vander Esch I think will be the better player, if healthy, but that doesn't mean Littleton can't rack up a shit ton of tackles still even on a new team.

But again, I don't think it matters. Only concern I would have is injuries.

LVE - you take the guy with the highest ceiling in IDP, and don't worry at all about injuries, since it is typically easier to replace a LB than it would be to replace RB or WR

I still start him in one IDP dynasty. But I start Littleton in two.

They're 26 and 24 respectively. Age doesn't factor in this for me.

When he was with tLions PFF once ranked him the worst tackling linebacker also.

Why is ESPN listing some LB as DL? Like Khalil Mack, Chandler Jones, Bradley Chubb and Shaquil Barrett?
Don't get me wrong, a LB playing as DL will be fantasy GOLD. But if ESPN corrects this, it could be a problem missing out on higher ranked LB.
Anyone? Beuller?

Most of those guys play DE at least as often as they do OLB.

Any "fix" had better be dual position eligibility. Listed as DE's or DL's, they are gold, listed as OLB or LB, they're barely better than crap. In a league that uses generic flexes for IDP's, they're bye week fillers for your MLB's/safeties at best, no matter what position they're listed as.

Fleaflicker did the same and it really screwed me as then I had nobody on my roster to fill defensive slots.

thats kinda effed up though, I mean, obvious passing situations, all those guys are lined up at DE, even if they're playing OLB the rest of the game..never understood why anyone would feel they have yo call them one or the other
