Whoever it is should lose their right to voteWhoever you are, here’s a big F you.
I believe these voters got together and collude not to have a player be voted in unanimously. Saw the same thing with Jeter. Sucks to draw the short straw or they’re on their own. Regardless, it’s stupid.Whoever it is should lose their right to vote
It's ridiculousI believe these voters got together and collude not to have a player be voted in unanimously. Saw the same thing with Jeter. Sucks to draw the short straw or they’re on their own. Regardless, it’s stupid.
Yeah but Jeter shouldn’t have. You can tell the history of baseball without him. You can’t tell the history of baseball without Ichiro.I believe these voters got together and collude not to have a player be voted in unanimously. Saw the same thing with Jeter. Sucks to draw the short straw or they’re on their own. Regardless, it’s stupid.
I’m glad at least in the sports media world, everyone is on board in calling out this voter as a coward that is hiding behind his vote. Seriously, come out and explain your rationale.whoever didn't is a prima donna bitch who wants to make it all about themselves. what a turd blossom.
I kind of took it that way at the end of the interview but he just said he overlooked Ichiro cause it was obviously, voted for 8, voted for Felix while writing a column on Felix and wasn’t sure if he went back to fill out Ichiro. It does bring up a dumb point that I never thought of. If there is an obvious HOF choice voters can care more about keeping guys on ballots than voting for who is in the HOF.He posted today he did vote for him. Maybe he was just kidding before?
That happens and I think it is stupid. I think it is stupid that a guy needs 5, 6, 7 chances or whatever the limit is. Of course, I think the Hall thing has been diluted with All-Star players that are not HOF players. But that is just me.If there is an obvious HOF choice voters can care more about keeping guys on ballots than voting for who is in the HOF.
Yeah, they need to reform the whole thing. What I’d do isThat happens and I think it is stupid. I think it is stupid that a guy needs 5, 6, 7 chances or whatever the limit is. Of course, I think the Hall thing has been diluted with All-Star players that are not HOF players. But that is just me.
I know I am biased, but I never once thought CC was better than Felix. I know stats favor CC, but if Felix was on Dodgers or Yankees he would have won 300.likely would get Felix in cause it isn’t just about accumulating stats
I wonder about that. Winfield himself told me he didn't believe Edgar was a Hall of Famer because of the DH thing. I wonder how others would have voted.reate a wing that is voted on by players, not voters. Players know who is and isn’t HOF worthy. It would’ve made Edgar a HOFer much earlier
yeah, that's his type of humor. super dry.He posted today he did vote for him. Maybe he was just kidding before?
True. The only pitcher I ever even compared him to was Verlander. Really the only thing I remember about CC was his incredible run with Milwaukee that one year and always being annoyed when he was a Yankee with his hat. Nothing else stood out to me.I know I am biased, but I never once thought CC was better than Felix. I know stats favor CC, but if Felix was on Dodgers or Yankees he would have won 300.
Which is fair, but we’ve also heard several players say he was the best RH hitter in his generation so who knows. I am bias but I do think it’d be dumb if a player holds that against him. It is a position in the game so why wouldn’t it count?I wonder about that. Winfield himself told me he didn't believe Edgar was a Hall of Famer because of the DH thing. I wonder how others would have voted.
