This is completely off topic -- but I had never seen it until today -- it is a great companion to the Clifford/Cuban videos.

I know a lot of people can't stand Cuban. I'm a Mark Cuban fan for this moment and this moment alone.

And just the simple fact that ESPN is willing to pay Bayless to talk sports is enough of a reason for me to have no use or respect for ESPN.
UGH! Why hasn't somebody punched Bayless yet?!

My favorite Cuban moment though:

Let me fix it for you Horns. Since the arrival of Duncan, Parker, and Ginobli all of the above happened.

This is why this dipshit troll is no longer with us :pound:

I read this...

Insidehoops.com

"Tim Duncan Is One Of The Most Overrated Players Of All-Time"

:L

Well if you break it down his biggest point he is making is that his 5 year best doesn't quite match up with other greats at an all time level, but he is top 10 overall for his career. If you focus on that, and not the clickbait title, I think he does have a point you could debate legitimately..

Duncan's prime years were very very very good.. But what makes him top 10 isn't his top years, but his longetivity of greatness. I can see the argument that Olajuwon in his 5 best years (89-93ish) was better or Garnett in his prime years (01-06), or Robinson's 5 (91-95) were comparable or better than Duncan. When you think of Duncan you don't think of those 5 prime years, you think of those 15 prime years where the others fade. I really think of him at 36 being every bit as effective when on the court as he ever was.

That's what separates him from those other guys (and of course the team success). Not that his best few years were better than their best, but his best 15 years were better than their best 15.

You could argue Tmac for a couple years was better than just about any SG in the league since Jordan. Doesn't make his career better than Kobe or Wade's. I am a huge Duncan fan, love how he plays, leads, etc. But I'm not that needy that I think he needs to be the best in every single possible way to be one of the best bigs and the best PF of all time.

I get being against a few of the things in his article, especially the title, but that premise right there, that Duncan's highest peak isn't so much his brightest spot, but his longetivity of greatness is what truly separates him I have to say is a debatable topic.
