Cinci vs Pittsburgh may have been protected or may have not been available anyways? I dunno the rules about playing two Sunday night games in a row as the Steelers played the Colts on Sunday night last weekend. Maybe they aren't allowed to play on back-to-back Sunday nights?
That doesn't matter. In 2013, Denver had a Sunday night game against the Patriots scheduled. The week before, the Chiefs at Broncos game was flexed to Sunday night, meaning the Broncos played on Sunday night two weeks in a row.

You can't be this stupid.

The Patriots are the biggest draw in pro sports. The NFL is #1 and the Patriots are #1 within the NFL. I think the execs at SNF know what they are doing. Having the Pats on is always good for business because even fringe fans will tune in now.

Not that I don't agree with most of your post but I'm almost 100 percent certain something prevented them for putting Steelers/Bengals on and this was their next option. Steelers/Bengals was the obvious choice here but either SNF rules prevented this or CBS protected the game.

Have the players been talking shit? I haven't heard any of it, if so.

I don't think they have. Though Watt been tending to become a trash talker as he gets older.

There is absolutely some rule, TV or NFL that prevents the Steelers from playing 2 Sunday nights in a row

There is a reason we have never seen it happen

I mean, who really needs to see 3 more hours of Tom Brady throwing to the wrong team?

America! That's who.

And Andy Dalton is always happy to not play in primetime, as well.

Well I'll be damned. I guess he needs to vent and go with the flow. JJ is the epitome of a great NFL player, two thumbs for him.

Oh yeah. Nothing wrong with it. Wish more Texans would get a little cocky. You have to have some arrogance in you to succeed at this level.

Definitely. Steelers v. Bengals would be a better game(on paper anyway), but the Pats will always get you higher ratings. That said, there are restrictions on how many times teams can be flexed. I think the Pats have played like 3 Sunday 1:00PM games this year. I miss those.

7 pages dealing with flexing games. Yeah I'd say the Pats are the bigger draw. I like Chappy have already said on paper the Pit/Cin likely a better game? Man the Pats are in everyone's head. I can see it now coming to a court near you "FlexGate". Pats somehow convinced the networks to flex to their game.

Because the Colts been so good with Luck this year.................

It's just the way it is like with Rodgers. Colts own that division and will find a way to win. They should win this week, against Miami and against Tennessee. The worse they go is 9-7 and Houston cannot lose another division game in order to win division. I think they slip up in one of the three division games remaining.
