I have the 1st pick in a 14 team ppr league. So that means I have the 1st pick then I don't pick until picks 28 in the 2nd and 29 in the 3rd. Again ppr league. Im thinking I take Luck, but im torn cause I want to take the Steelers number one wr cant think of his name right now. I think I should go after the top wr and then get my qb in the 3rd or 4th round. I don't think the drop of between say luck and romo is as great between say the best wr and the 15th best wr. Need some sound advice. Is my strategy flawed.

I would take Bell first if he were not suspended for the first 4 games. The 1st pick sucks

Do not take a QB first in a 14 team league. Thats suicide. Dont take a WR first either. GO RB first and get another one at pick 28 unless there is an excellent WR that slipped. In our draft Brady, Romo, Rothlesberger, Rivers, Bradford, Stafford all went later then the 6th round. You need to load up on the RBs. There isnt a big difference between the #1 QB and the #8 QB. But there is a monumental difference between the #1 RB and one out of the top 10.

Some dude took Dez first in our league and he went in the first round in many leagues. Maclin is going in like the 6th or 7th round. Last year Dez had 2 more yards then Maclin. With your picks so spread out dont waste it on a WR when there 20 good WR's out there. THere sure aint 20 good RB's.

If I were you Id go Adrian Peterson all day!

Also I'd entertain the idea of trading the first pick. With the picks spread out so far you'd really get a nice advantage picking up maybe an extra 3rd. Slide back to 6 or 7 and get your boy Dez cause he's going to have a MONSTER season. Personally Id rather have Dez then Antonio Brown and this way you'd get an extra 3rd to pick up an elite luxury position like TE. Grab Graham from Seattle with that extra pick.

I would love to trade to the 6 or 7th spot. As for as rb I feel like I can still get a solid starter at my 2nd pick. AP is the most confusing pick out there. I know hes great but hes again and has had a lot of carries. I think I can get bargain backs in the 2-5. Huge dice roll.
