Parents bought this for my wife and I for our first Christmas in 2010. Only bad thing is I had to replace the igniter the summer before last. Other than that, it has been great.

thats very affordable, thanks for the suggestion..........were kinda torn, some things came up, and finances are a wee bit tight.......so do we buy something more expensive, or just go cheap for now

Too be honest, I haven't noticed a huge difference between the more expensive grills and the ones you find at HD or Lowes. Give me heat, the ability to control the temp, and enough surface area and I'm good to go. They all rust and they all need to have components replaced. Buy what you can comfortably afford.

that was my thought, i can see a difference in build between the kenmores/webers, and everything else.....those two stand out as superior........other than that its gonna need replaced in 2-3 years anyways

My last two grills i purchased at HD for around $300. My current one is at least five years old and I've only replaced the igniter. I don't even cover it, though i do put it away in the winter.

If you can afford it, I say go with a Weber product.
They really do stand the test of time.
A bit more than others, but more than pay for themselves over time.
I also do a lot of stuff on the Traeger smoker, but my Weber is 4yrs. old and still looks like new.

I bought a stok, it's kinda cool, had issues in the past with heat regulation, supposedly now fixed couldn't pass on the deal

really pretty grill..........

my complaint thus far is ive had it on full blast for 35 minutes and were not cracking 400 degrees with opening the lid sparingly......
