ok None of us have given up on the team. We just expect alot more. Granted it is week two but we have gone threw twoadays we have practiced against a UTChatt skeam D. and a Fresno D. and we have shown No improvement. Nebrasksa has however shown that they have a boat load of talent with no direction.... Hang ur hat on something wether it be the option or spread or fucking wishbone for the love of god give us something. give the recuitse something to look forward to other than "we are going to be versital" Nebraskas D especially the secondary looked weak, Cameron merideth was going up against a froshmen Olinemen and I never heard his name.

Offense: Oline is piss poor has been for years. people want to blame Taylor for having a shitty game BS. it starts with the Oline and we all know that. fix the o line and we would not have this problem

lastly Wisco is licking there shops right now and I would not be surprised if they burn the barn down on us. we need to fix this problem and is starts with the Oline and Barney. Thanks for ur Recruits..........

Why do we have a bunch of little girls on this board? Nebraska won. The DEFENSE looked like shit. Bo is a defensive coach we all know he will have the team ready for a real team. The offense minus the offensive line and Brandon "I learned how to drop the ball from niles paul" Kinee looks better. Yes Taylor still makes mistakes and for the love of god he needs to learn to hang on to the ball. But we are improving its week 2 not 12. If we want to look like shit this is the time to do it not during the big games. So why is everyone on here pretty much giving up on the team? And saying our specials teams is shitty ARE YOU HIGH?

We seem to have another great kicker on our hands and FINALLY we have a great returner that hangs on to the ball. because they made one mistake they suck now? I just dont understand how you call yourselves real Husker fans when your giving up on the team after week 2. We WILL win the big 10. We WILL beat Wisconsin we WILL be fine.

The Huskers have a good team and a lot of potential to be better than good when all is said and done.

Many forget the O has a new system and blocking scheme. The O-line play is average make that way below average. Martinez's fumbles and bad passing are a big concern. The D-line play was poor, but Fresno had a great game plan. We are loaded with young talent and they are stepping up. Most want to see the line hurt someone on the other team. My personal expectations remain high although I am a realist based on the killer schedule. I only gave up on the Huskers when they repeatedly quit playing for Calladick. Never again will stoop so low as to do that again!

I am not the most intelligent football fan around but I do know you will find some of the biggest Husker fans in the nation, err ...world - sorry CT, here. There are also some very intelligent fans and some with amazing insider info. So if you see critiques of the Huskers here it is because these posters love the Huskers and want to discuss honestly what may concern them.

You would do well to read more and type less for a little while.

How does our offense not look fine besides out awful terrible offensive line? I hate it I really do because if they would get there head out of there asses this offense could be so much better. Taylor has improved. Yes he still makes TERRIBLE decisions. BUT he has better leadership skills on the field. I do see him staying in the pocket more...maybe thats just me though. Some of his passes are all terrible some people "BK" need to learn to hang on the ball. I honestly think the number 1 receiver spot at Nebraska is cursed. We have 3 great future running backs and rex. We have the damn talent just no line.

That's right, get it all out RedSea, that's what we do here.

I get pretty pissed off during the game when we play like they have been. I expect no less than what they were in the 90's, that's not my fault they were so good back then, however that's where the bar has been raised to.

The weird herald had a good article on Friday that blames Billy Cuntllahan for the lines woes. Most O-linemen were hurt, quit, or never showed up on campus. They (2007 class) would be 5th year seniors now. Marcel Jones is still around but has back problems. The 2008 class lost Dan Hoch to Mizzou and Riley Reiff to Iowa after the BC firing and Bo's hiring. In that same class, Trevor Robnson went to Notre Dame and has started 28 games, and Bryce Givens went to Colorado where legal issues ended his career. Four other linemen in that class were David Grant (no show), Ricky Henry, Brandon Thompson (non starter), and Baker Steinkuhler (now on Defense). I kept asking where's the pipeline? It looks like the Huskers have had a good run of bad luck on the O-line. Huskers need to focus on some Nebraska high school players to fill the line.
