I agree, and it all started with a couple negative comments to the AD. I don't agree with a year suspension, but he should of kept his mouth shut.

Well even though he can no longer play football, it is nice to see that his life is on the right track. I believe he's only 28 or 29 so still have a ton of time to do something positive in his life

From what I saw his friend died, he was mislead by OSU, then they turned their back on him for image purposes. They got what they wanted from him and threw him aside!

Yeah that was right before the NCG, it was mainly the AD. Then the comments he made about the university and the AD is what I think got him suspended. Reporters were asking the AD questions, "So what are the reasons he was suspended?"

He didn't answer for a reason, he didn't like the fact a 18 yr was showing him up, basically after that he wasn't going to play football at tOSU anymore, didn't matter what Tressel said too.

I was really impressed with Clarett in that show

Yes. He has his demons, but OSU ran him over. His friend dies and they lie to him about being able to attend. Then they are mad he has the audacity to question them. Self righteous pricks

Is that AD still at OSU? They should have thrown his ass in jail. Clarett eventually broke and deserved his arrest but the institution definitely threw this guy under the bus and then drove the bus over him. Didn't know he was thinking about ND, would have been interesting with him and Julius jones in the backfield...

So you watched that, and came to the conclusion that he ruined his life? He's probably happier than he's ever been. He took full responsibility for his actions and dedicated himself to become a better person. Life isn't in the falling, we all fall at one time or another, its in the getting up. He looks like he's gotten up.

Even Clarett knows he was a very immature street kid and it cost him. Probably time to allow him to learn from his mistakes and maybe pass on some of that to the youth programs he is involved with.

Probably the best thing for Clarett at that time. Chances are he would have gone back home and gotten in some sort of trouble. The kid was out of control.

The thing I really got out of it is that I'm even more upset at the players in the program that took advantage of Tress. Dude has a heart of gold and they ran over him.

I miss Tressel, one lie and he was out. He was such a good guy, treated his players like family; but made a mistake.

Love ya Tress!!!
