Punishing players and coaches like he's Judge Roy Bean, any time, for anything, and whatever amount he feels like at the moment....

I despise the piece of dirt, but they aren't paying him 40+ mil a year to lose money, he's fattening their wallets or he'd be gone already...

They are paying him to be their firewall.

He has the least to do with things such as tv deals. It would literally take you about 10 minutes of reading to figure this out.

It's also started to turn into a nearly unwatchable game experience with the overabundance of penalties and dysfunctional replay system. Maybe not all of his fault, but if that money starts to dwindle a bit, look out.

Not many share this sentiment. A message board is full of an overwhelming minority of "die-hards" who criticize and harp on these points you mention. And there is some merit to them. However, 99% of the fans don't care or even recognize they exist. You can't get an overall picture from a message board such as this.

The NFL is a monster. Add in fantasy, daily fantasy, gambling...it can't be stopped.

I think it's safe to say that the NFL would likely have done as well if you or I were running the show...it's a well oiled machine.

I tend to agree the owners are probably not going to make a change at commish anytime soon, but they can't be too happy in the deflategate loss, and it was a loss.
