I Hate To Say It, But I Don't Think The Sabres Make The PO's

But seriously, could you imagine where the Sabres would be right now if they did lose that game to Carolina in OT on April 3rd?

Sabres would be at 93 points, and the Canes would be at 92. They would pass the Sabres and knock the Rags out of the PO's if they won their last game of the Season.

Now you just think about that.

IPW, I thought the Sabres were dead in the water in mid December as most fans did. I am just grateful for whatever reason they turned it up a notch and managed to get in.

I am sorry I ruled them out , but some how this team did what fans around the league (not just Sabres fans) did and turned it around. To get more points than any other team in the NHL since Jan 1st is an amazing accomplishment. Esp considering they lost their top scorer at the time.

I still don't know how they did it but they did, they were at one time in last place in the league and managed to make it to the show.

Ruff deserves a lot of credit for that.

But imagine if I made a thread that said the Sabres will 100% make the PO's. That's pretty much the same as when someone says they hope the goalie hangs on to the shutout.

That is true since Feb 23 they were the best team in the NHL, point wise.

Second bold.....This is also true. Posters never bump those threads. That's like swamp material waiting for a MD topic to be wrong and bumping it. If he was right ( I don't think he ever was) the topic would not be bumped unless it was by him.
