Well, fuck it
Sabres will make the playoffs however they will not win a cup as long as kovalchuk is a devil
Neither will the Devils :p

We are currently negotiating with the squirrels
Last night's game showed that they can't handle the pressure of a big game, and they are still way too inconsistent to even think they can take on the top teams in the East in a 7 game series and win.
I really don't see how people are saying that they have "locked" up a PO spot already, or have over a 90% chance of making the PO's? The Canes are only 3 points behind now, and have the same amount of games left as the Sabres, 6.
If the Sabres lose tonight and the Canes win, I would have to think that the game on April 3rd is going to decide which team takes the 8th spot. I hope the Sabres beat the Rangers tonight, but I really don't think they are going to. I can only hope that the Canes lose to the Habs tonight and the Sabres manage to beat them on April 3rd to really have a shot at making the PO's.
It's looking like the 1 point the Sabres pissed away against the Preds is really starting to bite them in the ass right now.
I know Boss says to stay positive, but it's kind of hard to do when you have a team with a history of failure, shortcomings, and early exits.
Oh well, here's to next year.

The Devils will win tonight. DP is in goal.
I like the Sabres chances to make the playoffs. I am a bit confused by their offense. Some nights they look like the Red Wings. Other nights they look like the Oilers. Some consistancy would be nice.
Im hoping the Sabers get the 8th seed and the FLyers hold onto 1 so I can catch a few playoffs games in the Queen city
I dont know. Being a low seed- 7 or 8, is being mediocre and inconsistent. Carolina could catch them, but I think Buffalo will sneak in. That 3 point lead is substantial with so few games left.
Like I said, it will all boil down to who wins April 3rd. Especially if the Sabres lose their next game and the Canes win theirs before then.
You guys jumped ahead of the rags tonight didnt you.If you guys can get a few more points on the rags and carolina gets a little closer to them the devils rangers game may decide their fate.
NostraDarkstone is around 50% on his predictions.
I always liked the people on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire who only have 2 choices to pick from and they call a friend. The friend gives his answer and the guy on the show asks how sure they are. The friend then says 50% sure.
Always a good time there.
Almost didn't matter Nielsons 7th SH goal really sparked you guys.Konopka had A bad night first he got blasted in the face during the clarkson fight then came up limp after getting slammed in the corner. Was glad to see him back on the ice he looked hurt skating to the bench
