Our custom at the other place was to have a thread for any departing player - which we called so and so's Appreciation Thread. Marvin will still be around - they may decide to designate him as the returning player - who knows?

Wow your right and I even remember those now. Going to really have to jump my game up now with all the action we have here now. I just can't keep up . Usually had a day or two but now it like Evelyn Wood speed reading class. I will try and keep up though,I promise

I care that he is gone as our DL was already starting to get thin with Anunike injured and Wolfe suspended. Austin definitely showed some promise last year as in my opinion he outplayed Sly Williams. He came into camp this year though overweight and because of that it lead to an injury. From what I understand the coaches were getting pretty impatient as they were not impressed with how he conducted himself this camp. Sounds like they are going to do an injury settlement which means he can play for any other team this year. Just another showing that his injury isn't season ending just the team couldn't wait any longer. Again definitely appreciate what he brought to the team last year just wish he would have seen his opportunity this year to do something great.

I agree. Kubrick and Phillips threw out little hints that they weren't to happy with his effort to rehab and get back on field in a timely manner. Unfortunately I think he was doing the'ol peripheral " dickin the dog".
