Could be in the site. When I had a chat board, it was possible to "censor" words or word combinations. It's mainly to act as a profanity filter, but you can pretty much make any replacement the site owners want.

Nope- No notice. It came back up but in a terrible format....

They shut it down and when people asked them what was up the 3 weeks it was down the communication was terrbiel so we bolted, which in turn was a great idea, not only because this board has been great, but because the board over there looks like an 8 year old built it now.

To tag someone, it is like twitter or facebook

Use the @ sign then the persons name.
