I feel like the Thunder are going to win the Championship this year

Can't say they won't, but I think this year might be a year too soon. What they're doing is pretty amazing and fun to watch, but the game changes in the playoffs. It slows down, gets more physical and the refs tend to swallow their whistles more.

Not sure they have the experience for dealing with that difference.

Having said that, they lost in the 2nd round last year as the #1 seed...if they learned all that they needed to from that (which we won't know until the playoffs start), then I'd give them a much better shot at it.

The thing is the swallowing the whistle thing is already being applied to the Thunder so they will certainly be ready for it. It’s unreal that the team that leads the league in drives to the basket, by a considerable margin, gets so few calls. The Thunder are already running into the teams playing their starters increased minutes and it’s being proven that is a mistake against the young legs if the Thunder. With Dort, Caruso and Jdub to take turns defending the other teams stars it’s hard to out scheme them. That’s the biggest secret to their success.

Nuggets have fallen drastically behind them in terms of Western Conference hierarchy and in large part due to Malone's inability to evolve as a coach...

But, according to the "experts" on here, we need to continue to live in 2023 and accept our doomed fate in 2025.

I think the blame lies more with the front office.

Best answer they had to replacing lost guard production was to bring in Russ Westbrook who can’t shoot and has one of the worst on/off +- in the league.
