I don't get how Ray Rice has yet to get a call?

He's a piece of shit. No team wants that PR nightmare. PLUS...Rice doesn't have much left anymore. You can bet that if he still had much left(i.e. Greg Hardy), he would have a job right now in the NFL.

But Pierre Thomas does?

It's OK to be past your prime and have a role in the NFL. Just don't beat women on video AND be past your prime. You are acting like Ray Rice was still good when this all happened.

He came off one bad year due to a shitty o-line in Baltimore but he was fine before.

He is good enough to at least bring in for a tryout. I bet you that bitch Goodell told teams not to give him a tryout

If that truly were the case he'd be saying the same thing to AP, Hardy etc..

A 28 year old back who had one bad year doesn't deserve a try out. He has been black balled

It's not Goodell. It's Rice. He blacklisted himself. What NFL owner wants a mediocre player that brings angry responses from Women's groups and others? But, again, Rice can't play anymore. Here is his YPC recently:

2011-4.7
2012-4.4
2013-3.1
2014-OUT OF THE LEAGUE
2015-???

If you are GM, do you see a guy that is worth the headache there?

He gets it. Pierre Thomas signing won't be a top story on ESPN nor will it draw protests from fans and sponsors.

I'm not even sure if ESPN knows who Thomas is

Why would you have any sympathy for Ray Rice?

Because it was a private matter and should have remained private. He and his wife got past this and are in happy place now. No need to continue to punish the guy.
