Im sure we will bottom feed again and let most of our free Agents walk for comp picks im more of a draft and rookie free agent guy

I am for at least 1 top 20 FA but all in all is going to be crickets the next 2 weeks i would think and hope crowder and preston smith get big contracts from other teams .. its sad that i looked forward to FA time in the past but now i just hope the players that we do not resign get big contracts ngoing in to a draft with 9 to 10 picks every year is the way to go

Well - took a look back at recent free agency & trades for this team. Several moves that seemed exciting or intriguing at the time but perhaps not so good years later for various reasons. You have:

1. Alex Smith - injuries have made this a disaster
2. Zach Brown - seemed great a year ago now kind of hard to tell
3. Josh Norman - ditto - they might be better off if he were not on team
4. Swearinger - seemed awesome until late last season
5. Pryor - a complete disaster
6. Richardson - TBD - seemed really good early on - now who the hell knows?

On & on & on. Moves that yes are exciting & entertaining but perhaps not good or at least incomplete in terms of how they help the team especially long term. A relatively quiet offseason may not be that bad

For sure. They will be cut if they can't find a taker, but I'd rather have a 6th or 7th than nothing. Worth a try.

It is worth a shot, however, if we're honest, Brown's 8 million cost this season won't get any takers unless we take on part of that salary (see: Keenum trade) and Foster can't be traded unless we offer something to another team to take him.
