I don't think Sims would be back because somebody will probably offer him a starting job, like Rucker this season.
Why is that? Because we do not like offensive lineman who are smart and can play in an area of our needs? Or because we are not allowed to have two OL from the same school? Because our young QB doesn't need any time to throw the ball with Pittsburgh and Baltimore blitzing the house at us?
Not sure why he would have never been a consideration, but okay.
If they have already decided they aren't bring back Sims or Peko next year then this wasn't as bad a move.

Maybe the guys we drafted will be an improvement on the line. A great D line is the most important part of a defense.
I'm becoming more ok with it.
We aren't getting a S. I've come to terms with that. They like Sands and Mays. We could use a DE, I really like Tank Carder at ILB and there are a lot of RB's left I like. Miller, Rainey, Grey, Ganniway.
I say we take a RB, DE, LB, TE, and OT.
I'd be fine with that. Skimp on LB'ers. They all suck anyways. Just keep 4 for all I care.
You can't think that in the first 3 rounds of teh draft. You have to believe you are taking the best guy you can who can contribute, not take two guys at an area of strength (same position) anticipating 1 is going to bust out.
