I think Nebraska should beat Northwestern. NU has more talent.

Pelini could get out-coached tho..

Northwestern: 38
Nebraska: 28

Media will wonder why Kain Coulter isn't mentioned in the Heisman talk after his performance against the Huskers. Also media will proclaim Northwestern to be contenders for the CCG game against Purdue. In the same breath the media will wonder how the Big 10 became such a shitty conference..

tOSU couldn't even put up more than 8 points against UAB in the second half.

UCLA lost to fucking CAL 17-43.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think a Bo Pelini coached team would score 38 god damn points and still lose.

This team is BAD. REALLY BAD.

I don't bet against the huskers, Tom. I would take no pride in us losing.

Seriously?

I wonder which NW quarterback named Kain Colter has passed for 45 of 68 for 369 yards, rushed for 64 times for 395 yards, and then moved out to wideout and caught 12 passes for 148?

You must be one of those fans who only focuses on Nebraska sports. Pat Fitzgerald (he's the Northwestern Coach) has a two headed monster QB system at their school and it gives him the ability to move players around. So although you think he's no longer playing the quarterback position...he actually still is.

This was printed on espn last week....

Northwestern survived a second-half scare from Indiana on Saturday to remain undefeated, and do-it-all junior Kain Colter was the biggest reason why. Colter is the Big Ten Player of the Week.

Few college players have Colter's versatility, and he displayed all of his skills against the Hoosiers. After starting the first four contests at quarterback, Colter took the field as a wide receiver for the first snap, as teammate Trevor Siemian called signals. It was a sign of things to come as Colter spent a good chunk of the game at wide receiver and recorded nine receptions for 131 yards (14.6 yards per catch). Although wide receiver is a strength for the Wildcats, Colter showed he might be the best of the bunch, even though he primarily plays quarterback.

Colter boosted the pass game, but he did his best work running the zone-read play, for which Indiana had no answer. He had 14 carries for 161 yards and four touchdowns (11.5 ypc), repeatedly faking out Hoosiers defenders to gain big chunks of real estate. Colter tied the team single-game record for both rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns and set career highs in rush yards, receiving yards, receptions, touchdowns and all-purpose yards (292). Although he completed just one pass and threw an interception, he more than made up for it with his other contributions. "He is unbelievable," Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald said. "He is the most dynamic young man, I think, in this conference."

Now...after watching what Miller did to the Huskers on Saturday...wouldn't you start Colter at QB against Nebraska? As far as why he didn't play more quarterback against Penn State..I don't know. Fitzgerald will have to answer that question while Bo has to explain why his defense can't stop mobile quarterbacks.

Same here.

I shall expect anywhere from 8-5 or 9-4 or 9-5.

At best a 10-4 from here on out.

I don't see any 11 win seasons in the future, as that would be reaching Top 10 status.
Too much of a pattern w/ penalties, turnovers, and poor O/D line play to get there. IMO

I could see 10-3 next year but that is no reason to get out the glasses. With that schedule we lose 1 and tOSU kicks our ass in Indy, of course that is if M State has a process like ours.
