Ya know Red Alert you do seem like a good poster. I have not seen much of you in that forum. That of course does not dis qualify you at all but in any case you do seem to be a good choice as well.

I read it. Just don't post much as I'm more moderate. I used to be quite conservative, then I had kids and it took the edge off.

I'm disgruntled with the whole process basically and don't believe either party truly looks out for the backbone of America. ie..The commoner just working for a living..

Vote GoldenSpur '13, bro. We'll keep the good parts, and try some new stuff, too.

Lol. We need more slogans!

This thread reminded me that in my final year of law school I ran for the equivalent of student government president. Since I was graduating a couple months later, I wasn't technically "eligible" for the position that started the following school year and wasn't on the actual ballot. My campaign slogan was... "I won't be here...so I can't screw anything up!"

I had YouTube videos accusing my opposition of hating babies and puppies, obviously totally in jest.

There were 5 actual/legitimate candidates for the position. I got 3rd on write ins. Lol.

In any case NHLers.

I am votes short. I was not aware that other forums would be used by people to help them along. This is my last post and I will let the votes decide it.

I believe that I would be a good MOD. Some others who seem to think that I would not have made the choice to follow my post here and try and cause a drama post. I will not be involved in that.

If you choose to vote for me and get me over the top (iI was really far back until this post and TY to all) then so be it.

I will ask for your help one more time on Tuesday night when Hockey is generally more active.

Thanks again for all who have supported me. I am truly grateful.

I just got a chain email revealing that one of the candidates is a secret America hating Muslim. I want 5000 in vCash deposited into an offshore account by noon tomorrow or I'm spilling the beans.

Lol, though I do sense some attempted resume-whoring to go with the irony. :boink:

Being a mod I've been involved in the discussions that we have in the politics forum and the need for mods.

I think it's fair that the posters that use that board be the ones to vote for the mods. It's not a popularity contest but to vote for the people that the users feel would be best for the job.

Good thing there is a couple of us Mods that have executive votes, otherwise the wrong candidate might slip in.

Not to sound like a dick, but this is exactly why that place is going to remain shit. Don't take that as a personal insult BF4L, ya know I like ya brudda. There has been a massive influx of votes from people who don't even use the politics forum... Very similar to politics in the real world, trying to secure that vote from people who don't even pay attention.

No biggy, I'll stick to my threads of interest if it remains the way it is, which I am pretty positive it will. May even get worse.

I will not take it the wrong way you cock gobbler.

:)

I actually 100% agree. I did not see that around 100 votes would be placed. I am trying to level the playing field. I got a huge jump from this forum in the voting. Even if I dont make it in (which is fine) I am thankful for those who tried to help.
