There may be a trade to be made between Philly and Boston, but Embiid won't be part of it.
The only way The 76ers would consider moving him would be if they knew something health wise they weren't sharing. He'd have to have critical permanent damage. Dario is another story, he might have a price tag.

They would definitely trade Dario for the right price.

Embiid and Simmons are untouchable.

If Philly is smart and a bit lucky, they might well be title contenders in a few years. There are questions with every key player though.

Yup. No question. The Sixers could be a pretty darn good team next year if things fall the right way. Other they could be a 30 win team.

Minnesota is the other team I see as teetering between a very bright future and a hodgepodge of ill fitting pieces.
Put The Bucks in there and we could see a big shift in power from west to east soon.

The Bucks and Wolves are budding superstars. Granted at positions that the league doesn't currently reward. But the Freak and Towns could both change the game.

Embiid also shows that potential. What he needs to show is health.

Towns has as complete an offensive arsenal as any 7 ft player I've ever seen, and he's still a baby.
I think the kid in Milwaukee is the only player in The NBA this season to lead his team in all 5 major statistical categories.
If you look at just the under 25 talent, The East is killing The West.

Yeah it looks like things could flip in the next couple of years. Unless the Warriors stick together.

A quick check reveals The East has 16 of the top 25 players under 25 in the 2017 power rankings, including the top 4.

I'm fairly indifferent to East vs West stuff. No one really remembers that stuff. They remember the great teams and great players.

I'm always a team first guy, but I do take some pride in conference.
I'm 100% a Georgia/Atlanta team first, with The Celtics as a secondary interest.

The east is going to be a crazy good conference in next few years, it goes in cycles. Afterall, the sixers and celtics have been taking all the top players
