Would you invest in him for next year in a keep 4 offensive player league with 1 IDP? I asked about McKinnon being available and instead he sent me a offer for Hyde. After Ridley and Sproles went down I have Ellington and a hopeful return of Ingram as my only options at RB. My team is not competitive as it stands now. So investing in next year would be a good bet. But does Hyde carry enough upside to stash all year long in a small keeper. While we expect Gore is nearing the end of the road. Just how quickly will he give up that spot is anyone's guess. But giving up Brandon Marshall the Broncos LB for Hyde seems like a gamble worth taking. Even with Trevathan going down and the uptick in Marshall's play expected.

Word is that Gore would have been cut this year if Hyde had proven to be better during the preseason. I would expect a similar deal next year, with a more likely scenario at Gore actually gets cut.

That would leave 2015 fantasy drafters with a MOntee Ball type valuation of Hyde. Whether he plays up to it or not is anyone's guess.

Think i'm going to take the lottery ticket. At worse I give up a LB on a already bad team. At best I get a RB to pair with Ellington for years to come.

I think that is a wise gamble.

I am considering trying to deal for Hyde in a league where he would cost a late 2nd round pick to keep him. If things break right, that could be great value.

I would deal JJ Watt in a 1 IDP let alone Marshall. Hyde should be a monster next year. I may be wrong, but isn't this Gore's contract year?

8/30/2011: Signed a four-year, $25.9 million contract. The deal contains $13.5 million guaranteed. 2014: $3.3 million (+ $750,000 roster bonus + $400,000 workout bonus + $2 million in per-game roster bonuses), 2015: Free Agent

Yeah going into this season I kept Bowman. I have Cyprien who could be a candidate if I don't keep Bowman again. Or if Collins could get going for the Pats.
