Man, I feel for the guy. He has issues deeper than smoking marijuana. I personally think he uses marijuana to help cope/deal with those issues (right or wrong). Unfortunately he's in a profession where that's a no-no.

Too bad he couldn't just hit a chick or something, then he'd serve a short suspension and get picked up by another team.

Last I heard, it sounded as if he was getting legal advice here in NE and that attorney didn't have a license in CA. It's possible he had to get a public defender but his own lawyer could still help.
