If we have 3 losses at the end of November, then none of us should be thinking we're deserving of being ranked anywhere to be honest..............

Well, I was just losing 3 losses as an example beings that we've had at least 3 losses by the end of November since Bo has been here......

The last couple years for instance, when we had 1 loss and were still in the mix, I was very excited about the possibilities of working our way back up in the rankings. But as soon as we lost our way out of that, it was just pointless to care about the ranking anymore.

If we are out of the National Title picture, then I just hope at that point that we have a chance to be in the BIG Title picture.......

And if not, then at that point I'm just hoping to win out and get a good bowl game.

We need to get into the B1G mindset of winning the conference and playing in the Rose Bowl. We do that and the MNC shit will work itself out eventually. national Championships are great, no doubt. But 130+ FBS teams are disappointed every year for not reaching that goal.

I personally am all for National Championships en sech...

Losing a non-con game hurts just the same to me as losing a conference game to be honest. The Rose Bowl is a nice consolation prize if we lose our way out of the National Title picture.......but ultimately, the National Championship is what I care about.

agreed. however if we lose a noncon game and win out, but are left out of the MNC, i will indeed care a great deal. in that case the Rose Bowl will NOT be a nice consolation prize.

Wisconsin keeps going to the Rose Bowl pretty regularly. How close are they to the NC? At a place like Nebraska, as a fan, I just can't have anything less than the NC be the goal. I may have too high of standards but I am a fan and only want the best for them.
