Figures I finally get a place with in ground pool and it fucking rains all the damn time. Plus cold.. its June... and the river is still to damn cold to swim in.. last year I was in that water in April...

Used to say that summer in Siouxland didn't start until July. It's true most years.

Meanwhile, I'd come back west here and all my buddies look like native americans.

4th of July sucks aside from Saturday in the Park anyways. Assuming that's still going now that Gateway is history.

Unless I go to law or medical school there are no jobs in north platte for me- unless I wanted a majore pay cut. I refuse to work for union pacific because they turned me down once- then after they hired someone else- after he failed to preform they called begging for me 7 weeks later. So F them.



Plus the lady won't move out of dakota county untill her daughter is 18.

And even after that I think I'm gonna have a hard time getting her to move after that anyway unless the money is real good.

I miss Western Nebraska- still can't figure out why people think the eastern side is better- :dunno: but the likelyhood of me getting to live out there again is slim- I still get to visit a lot though

Just got back from Lincoln. Visiting friends and taking two of my sisters back, to see where they were born. One was 5 and the other was 9, when we moved, over thirty yrs ago. Had a great time and great weather, while we were there. My sisters bought what ever had Nebraska written on it, LOL...
Just missed some friends I haven't seen in 30+ yrs, thanks to the airlines fine work, on messing up flight times and dates, for them.
The new basketball stadium is going to be awesome, and the Haymarket area is impressive.
Now back to the real world, WORK.......

They looked fine to me when I looked. I got my bets in fine. They are listed as eastern time but should adjust to whatever time zone you have it set at.
