Sorry to hear the loss.

Other things to do..

Teach him to count on fingers.
Teach him colors. Find different color objects. Tell him the different colors and test him to pick up or point at the color you say.
Sing kid songs. Abc's
Put on some music and dance..

Prayers Irule. Never good to see parents grieving for their children.

Something else you can do to kill an hour or so, is take him to the library and read him some childrens 'picture books'. It's free and you don't need a card if you read them there.

Thats a good one. Lots of public libraries have a daily story time too where a librarian will read several books to a group of kids.

Used to take my kids to the library one afternoon a week when they were 4,5,6. They got to pick 4 books each to check-out and bring home.

Had plenty of picture books for when they were 1,2,3 so didn't have to go to the library. Just know they have picture books for those ages and plenty of comfy places to sit and read to a toddler.

What ever you do, stay away from Chuck E. Cheese. That place is where parents lose their minds.

Create an account for him and teach him how to plorst, irule.....

He has probably had enough of all the child's play.

Just don't teach him how to drink and plorst......not yet. That needs to wait for the age of 13 or so.
