Chiefs will finish 3rd in AFC West after they finish the year 2-5.....


If there ever was such a thing as a over rated 9-0 team...... it's this years chiefs....



The cowboys are the only team with a pulse that Kansas City has beaten and they are FIVE and FOUR.....



and the cowboys will be FIVE and FIVE after the saints beat them this weekend...



The Chiefs are the third best team in the AFC west...... and that's exactly where they will finish in the division

I'll give you the Broncos, but none of the others would qualify. Sure the Chiefs have gone undefeated on a scheduled padded with some of the biggest marshmallows in the NFL, but still, they have won them all. I doubt they get past the Broncos next week, but even so, they will have 9 wins, which is more than some of the other "Good" teams in the league.
An obvious thorn in the side for them is the inability to stretch the field offensively. That will be the biggest issue facing them this season. I am sure they will lose a couple more games, but will be firmly in control of one of the top 2 positions in the division. Finishing 2-5 will still make them 11-5 on the season. Not bad for a 2 win team last year.

The chiefs offense is horrible.....

And while their defense is good... You can't count on your defense to score touchdowns to win against good teams... The chiefs have been counting on their defense to score touchdowns to beat teams with losing records....

Boosters and administration have problems..

1. They think Nebraska can win 12-14 games a year without one of the top ten coaches in the business
2. They would never pay to have one of the best coaching staffs in the nation because- see 1
3. They would not risk the show cause.....


However, the show cause isn't really that bad.....

"f he gets another head coaching job before then, he will have to sit out the first five games of the first regular season of his return, as well as any postseason games (including conference championship games and bowl games)"
