Its all Hank's to win for....Columbus beat Pitt. If Hank can stay out of deer mode, Rangers win.

Yup, we'll see how they do against Mason. Probably going 7 if history is anything.

history is out the window....Av needs to find relief for MC D, which should be Staal. Flyers are going after Mc D and he needs some help. Av should be able to come up with something......Carcillo can be a factor....turn him loose a little

Yeah they're pounding McD alot and some other usual dirty BS. I'm glad the put Carcillo in he needs to stay and get under their skin.

it should be way lower IMO

Its not all Tommy's fault Buck still cant manage his pitchers like he thinks. The 100 pitch strategey is the only thing that works for Buck.
He doesnt have a closer and the middle guys need to pitch longer, OJ isnt a starter (overpriced has been)

He was dominant pitching the 7th/8th there's no reason it should be much different.

the bad part...oday got melky bautista and encarnacion out for him...so he didnt even have to face the heart of the order...just like all of our pitchers...he gets hit and touched up by the bottom of the order...

Based on the stats for this season so far, I think I would prefer using Britton for 2-inning saves and Meek for 1-inning saves...

Britton's been very good, but I don't know if he's closer material..yet at least.

as much as i like britton he isn't a closer . just look at his first back to back the second game he had 3 flyballs . zach is a starter and with that 94 , 95 sinker it's a killer . i was impressed after britton gave up the homer he started back sinking the ball . matusz is having a rough patch atm . meek i like him as a closer but lastnight if you going to get britton up put him in vs 3 lhh i like my odds .

Britton has found a good place to build his confidence and really be an impactful pitcher. At least for him he's feeling like a contributor. Maybe at some point he gets a chance to start again but I think Buck would like to lockdown the bp as much as possible. In an injury situation I could see him getting the call to start.

I think Hunter will get better in the role as time goes on, he's probably still adapting to the higher pressure of pitching the 9th. He'll always probably put at least one runner on and give up a hr here and there but I think it'll be far less stressful than JJ would've been.

I like meek as a late game middle same with Britton, the challenge(problem) is how is Buck going to utilize the relief. maybe Britton can replace OJ as a starter
