I don't get all the SEC hate. There were 16 BCS National Championship games and the SEC won 9 of them. They won 7 in a row and came within 3 points of winning 8 in a row! Hate on the SEC all you want but it's useless because they have been the best conference over the past 15 years. Whoever your favorite team is, put them in the SEC and see how they would have done over the past 15 years. I'll bet even money you'd have done worse than you did. If you don't like it then get better yourself.

When you run the gauntlet that the SEC has been and several different teams have National Championships out of the same conference (Five Different Teams!) you've got a conference that's stronger than a garlic malt. Nobody else has come close. No one.

I was mocking the idea that just because a conference won the national title, they are the best conference. Was the SEC the best conference most of those years, probably. But using one game a year as evidence is flawed.
