OK, let's start baring down on how we can win the Super Bowl. But to allow for sensitivities, let's exclude discussing the QB position. That is NOT ALLOWED. Assume your QB commits the most turnovers in the league. How does this team win a Super Bowl anyway?

Thoughts?

We convince the other teams to score TDs for us!

Three things

Defense, Defense and Defense

The forbidden discussion point should not matter, just get the next great field goal kicker.

You`d have to have miracle after miracle to get us to the SB with a major melt down like the Pack did for us to win.
No way in hell does Russel Wilson commit 4 ints and wins vs NE.............no way.

Better question would be,if JC keeps the turnovers down what would it take for us to win the SB.....

That's easy..........Seattle`s defense.lol

You petition the rules committee to award points for QB's who refuse to go through their progressions and lock onto receivers (we would receive points on nearly every passing play). You also get the rules committee to award points for a QB's "potential." "Lack of leadership" traits would have to be heavily rewarded as well. Also, petition the committee to award points for shitty plays and turnovers.

There is no way anyone could stop us.

Go Bears!

Defense and running the ball. Just like the winning team on Sunday.

I feel that a common thread among Super Bowl-winning teams is that they play well as a team. Maybe that seems like a simple thing. But if you look at the last few Super Bowl winners...

  • Seahawks over Broncos (MVP Malcolm Smith)
  • Ravens over 49ers (MVP Joe Flacco)
  • Giants over Patriots x2 (MVP Eli Manning)
  • Packers over Steelers (MVP Aaron Rodgers)
  • Saints over Colts (MVP Drew Brees)
  • Steelers over Cardinals (MVP Santonio Holmes)
...you could say that some of these teams were underdogs going into the games. Maybe they had just a few positions of above-average talent, but the opposing team had just as many, or more.

Coaching, discipline, amazing catches, fortunate bounces, consistency from all 3 phases, getting hot at the right time - it all contributes to a championship. Plus you gotta love how some of the obscure role players seem to step up in the big game. The whole team was great. Not just one guy. Or a few guys.

No reason the Bears can't end up on this list IMO.
