I would think someone who brings false info and promotes it to be true a troll. if one is presenting accurate facts are they not just being informative and sharing the view from all sides so one can see the full picture and then make their own decisions?

smack talk threads are basically a designated area for trolling. Just like the gen board. But threads on team boards are supposed to be off limits. I think it's a near perfect system and is one of the reasons why this is the best board around, you can talk shit if you want or you can talk football.

I have never posted in a teams smack-talk thread. Can't even remember reading one. Some of the better fans on here are Seahawk fans or Pittsburgh fans. I have trolled both boards and been treated well - other than getting beat on a bit.....

I still think he's the best FS in the league. It's a shame because he does so much for their defense. He was one of my favorite prospects coming out of Texas. Everyone was always gushing over Taylor Mays and his athleticism in college, but Carroll knew Thomas was the better player. Is it really true this could be a career ender for him?

Well, the D may not be quite as good on the back end but it's not like there will be an empty spot where he once played, nor any chance that they will turn into the Browns....
They still have a lot of playmakers on that team and they'll still bring it, you can count on that....
