I'm not sure if he's getting better or if the team is just better off passing the ball in general right now. That OL has had it's share of injuries and could something be wrong with Zeke? It's not like this team is beating anyone of note; they're winning in their division, beat the Dolphins, and edged the wounded Lions.

True...unless they are way apart, I see Jones trying to get it done long term...but he's going to probably be less than $40m per with 3 OL guys, plus Lawrence in your top 5 cap hit in '20, Jones will give him the max signing bonus to keep his '20 cap hit as low as possible.

I don’t know about dumping Zeke. I think it goes hand in hand with them two. I doubt teams are stacking the box vs Pollard or Alfred Morris or whoever. Zeke does at times look like he has lost his burst but he is still a really good back. He has had two subpar weeks after 3 straight 100 yard games. Not many backs are going for 100 anymore in a game. The catch he made Sunday on the screen pass was great.

Seems to me like his play this year has taken him past the naysayer (at least the unbiased ones) stage.
