I hate to say this but its starting to look more like its the system then Tom Brady. I had Tom Brady as my 1B QB of all time but this might hurt him a little. Its showing that its actually Bill who is the great one and Brady is on for the ride. 2 different QBs have wins this year and when Brady comes back there will be 3 QBs with wins.
This won't hurt him at all. But yes BB is a genius. No detail goes unnoticed, this win was a team win with STs a huge factor. No one wants to believe BB spends more time on these fundamantals. Just like ball control. They protect the ball. Let other teams make mistakes and then capitalize.

Dude, that was a DIME and with the season on the line... You gotta give credit where credit is due... That was big time... He put that in a perfect spot...
The problem was he didn't go back to Gronk on the 2 point conversion. Gronk wide open but tried to thread it into his buddy Jules.

Congrats. Pointing out the season with the 2nd most games that offense failed to even score 20 points under Belichick (only 2000 was fewer.... If only we knew of some similar thing on that offense that only occurred in 2000 and 2008....)

The last time Belichick didn't have brady, a 1 win dolphins team coached by fucking Tony Sparano from the year before took the division from him.

That season they threw 29 fewer TD's. How AWFUL of a drop off is that to throw 29 fewer TD's from the year before???
Stop with the facts and stats. The haters really hate that. I mean really really.

Yep, like I said before all great players make bad play's ... The great ones just make way more good play's over there careers...

Sonny, I respect you.

Most of the time.

the guy was the best player for Seattle. Without his abysmal play that game isn't even close.

And you know it.

Thanks Hammer some of the time. I'm sure the 4 tds, over 300 yards and overcoming the 10 point 4th Q deficit with 2 nice TD passes vs that tough Seattle D had nothing to do with it. If Pats D doesnt give up 70 yards on 3 plays, including that unbelievable bobbling catch inside the 10, the int is moot. It's nice to be on the receiving end of a break

Too bad hoody doesn't have a coaching record with vs without Brady so we could actually have something factual to look at and evaluate.

Facts are Pats keep humming along without Brady, who by all accounts (- Hammer) is a top 5 all time QB. That's not supposed to happen.

It is when the best has his receivers perking and helps his backups, they should win. Rodgers I'm sure learned a lot watching Favre for 3 years

Facts are Bill is a .500 coach with 1 playoff appearance over about 100 games & 7 seasons without Brady. I'll let you look up his record with him. What's the thread about again ?

I know his record, and can't for the life of me figure out how he sucked in Cleveland to now be considered a genius.
What ever he's doing now is working. If one could sell his soul BB did.

He didn't really suck too bad, considering - He brought Cleveland a playoff game and a playoff victory over a Parcells' Patriot team in 94. Then Modell yanked the rug from underneath him, announcing the move to Baltimore to start the 95 season - that Browns team tanked, and Belichick was let go.

The following year he joined Parcells again as DB coach and met Kraft - Thanks Art!

And I think the biggest part of that was he got an all time QB to bring consistency to his team. That let him build his roster, gave him the selling point to bring in the FA's he wanted for his system, change the offense to fit the other changing offensive players skill sets, let his draft picks grow in his system, etc. Much like Montana did for Bill Walsh.

That great play at the QB position allowed him the time, the buy in from the players, and the confidence of the ownership to show what he could do.

Everyone knows where he made his name, and who is mentor has been his whole career

His father was his mentor at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. And that's where Bill Belichick got his start. His first job was with the Colts. You can't twist actual facts, Dirt.

What I've learned is this......people who so hate anything, in truth, actually love what they hate. Hammer and Dirt love the Patriots and Brady and just worked their little asses off trying to convince themselves that they don't.

Ok, I'm only going to say this once.

Brady and Belichick are like an ERECTION. A soft dick and warm blood. Put them together and you have an incredible ORGASM.

Can it get any simpler?????

Of course Bellichick is great! No contest. The Patriots are definitely very good without Brady AND Gronk.

I can't wait to see their play decline as those two get back in gear..

:D

Yes, but I think he was just a 3rd string assistant with Baltimore. He certainly made his bones with Parcells and the Giants

But he's way beyond that now. I think it's fair to say he's done pretty well for himself post-Giants.
