How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Hurts?

Well the Eagles added 4 receivers and added one before they took Hurts. So get a better handle on the situation before you talk about it. They also use a lot of double TE and drafted one in the 2nd round a couple years ago. They take some time to develop, you might not be aware.

They would have taken a safety (Chinn) with the #53 pick anyway so your weak opinion about the Hurts pick removing a weapon from Wentz is just flat out wrong.

The backup QB is an important position for Doug. He values it. I can't be any more clear than I already was. Howie also values it. Howie mentioned 2002, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2015 as years his teams needed to use backup QBs. That doesn't even include the Wentz years or our Super Bowl victory in 2017. You haven't studied this enough.

The dude from San Fran is usually hurt so maybe they'll get 6 games if lucky but still more games than what DJax will probably play

Yes, we all understand Doug values the backup but this isn't the year to select one when Wentz needed better WRs than late round picks but you're on an island all on your own that likes the Hurts pick. Waive those pom poms cause Howie and Douggie can do no wrong in your eyes. Provide me a link they wanted Chinn at #53.

I'll give @eaglesnut credit for believing in what he thinks. He's in the 5% that liked the Hurts pick. Me personally I would rather have a guy that plays most of the snaps for where he was drafted and not take the ball out of your best players hands on any occasion.

That might be true but I have had a couple of good conversations with him. Seems too me that Howie wanted Hurts because he missed out on Wilson 8yrs ago and I disagree with that when your franchise QB needs top talented WR from the draft.

They drafted a WR in round 1, spent big on DL in FA and a big trade for a CB. Time to make sure you're not totally fucked again when Wentz gets hurt.

It's dumb to pass on Hurts if you like him as your backup. Then after that they got 3 more WRs continuing to add depth to the passing game.
