Ok. We`ll get to Cd's post above last. I've challenged a few here before to show me one post where I`ve said...." Trevor is the future for Denver" or " Trevor is the answer " or " Lynch can`t/won`t win the job" over Trevor in the future or be a very good Qb for Denver or anyone else. All my posts ( deemed aggressive ) are in response/retaliation over "certain" individuals that bash Trevors skillset, decision making, release time , yada, yada, yada when he has no offensive line to speak of and a basically non-existent run game to support him. Unlike some here, I will wait and see how he performs when he actually has that critical part of any Qbs road to success/logical evaluation surrounding him. If or when that happens and he performs bad or doesn't show any improvement, then I`ll realize that he doesn`t have what it takes to be a quality qb and help this team win a title. Same with Lynch. Give him that opportunity as well, and let them compete and see if either are capable. If Lynch beats out Trevor, so be it and I`m all aboard either way. I`m not going to strut my self-proclaimed Qb guru crap like some on here and say I know what will happen between the two. It`s unfair to gage Trevors performance "critically" with that crappy O- line in front him. The same as it is to proclaim Lynch the better qb based on his sample size either. I`ve never said either one can`t lead Denver to the promised land once the weaknesses are fixed and never said neither one can`t. I`ve just defended the negativity on Trevor and refused to crown Lynch the better qb until they fix the line and get a decent run/pass pro game and let the best man win. The post by Cd implying a big part of the reason they hired McCoy was he ran a more simplified easier offense to grasp for the Qbs. No wait, for Lynch. Not Trevor. God forbid that even though Bronco coaches and Elway have stated that they threw everything but the kitchen sink at Trevor this year and they were extremely proud of how he handled it and absorbed it, that he won`t benefit from the same watered down offensive scheme. That maybe they did it for both of them??? God forbid that Qb ( Trev) wouldn't really excell after showing how well he handle that complicated Kubiak scheme that the rookie couldn`t grasp. Naw. that`s just ridiculous. And finally, being accused of suggesting anything as atrocious as accusing Cd of favoritism for Lynch or for dissing Trevor in any of his post, I`ll just let you all see what you take from his comment of " And yes Lynch would have to "TOTALLY BLOW IT " not to WIN THE COMPETITION unless they bring in a Vet. If that`s not a pure disrespect or blatant cut toward Trevor, then I guess there isn't one. And Yes, I`m totally prepared for the " What I meant to say " reply coming my way. Later :)

So when you call me out you don't expect me to respond and say why I said what I said? I mean you are just setting me up to have to respond to this.

I wish you would take the time to sit back and realize not everybody here has some kind of agenda or is out to bash just certain players. I have said multiple times on here how impressed I was with how Siemian handled a very difficult situation. Never easy to follow a legend and yes a lot was thrown at him and he kept his cool about it for the most part. He deserves a shot to win the starting job here or somewhere else. He wasn't even close to the worst starter in the league so plenty of teams could have him starting this next year and maybe even the Broncos are that team.

Now when I said Lynch would have to totally blow it to not win the competition unless they bring in a Vet I think there is plenty of evidence out there that Elway is pulling hard for Lynch to win the job. Every GM wants to be proven right. It is an ego thing. Siemian was the guy that Kubiak pounded the table for a couple of drafts ago and Elway decided a 7th round pick was fine. Lynch though is all Elway. He went all in on this kid being the next Star QB for the Broncos. I know you don't like when I say "sources of mine" but I'll just go ahead and do it and then let you make fun of it like you always do that Elway after the Atlanta game came to Kubiak and told him he would like him to start Lynch the rest of the season. This was when Siemian was hurt and then Kubiak decided to start him on a shortened week after the Atlanta game and well it was maybe Siemian's worst game. This is when the divide really started happening between Elway and last year's coaching staff. Plenty have reported on the coaching staff rebelling against Elway by not playing Lynch in the final game as a way of showing unity with Kubiak. Well we see what happened to that staff as very few still remain.

So when you have the most influential person in your corner wanting you to win the starting job yes it makes sense that Lynch is going to be given every opportunity to win the starting job. I'll just all it now that even though Siemian's shoulder is supposed to be healed up when the first work outs are allowed the Broncos will keep him limited. They will say it is to make sure his shoulder is all the more healed up but i would say it has a lot more to do with the Broncos wanting to give Lynch as many opportunities as possible and just to see how far he has advanced over the off season.

Honestly for Siemian's sake I do hope he is traded. Not because I hate him or wish him ill will or don't want him to be the QB for the Broncos but because I don't think he will get a fair shake in Denver. I like Siemian and I do expect he can improve and grow as a QB. I don't know what his ceiling is. Obviously I do think it is lower than you do but that doesn't mean I"m hoping for him to fail just to be proven right about that kid. He is a Denver Bronco and has been nothing but a class act every step of the way. I just want him to have every opportunity he deserves.

I like Semian a lot to continue to get better but his injury history is suspect. Hurt in college, hurt his shoulder in preseason diving at a player, took a hit on his shoulder in TB then hurt his foot.

Thought it was pretty obvious by the last sentence I expected your call. Just curious, you have sources in Washington also ? :) Can't wait for this draft, Fa, and season to start. Should be interesting to say the least.

I will not be giving him credit until he actually does something . as of this point he has not anywhere . sorry truth is just that .

The first year Elway was GM plenty bitched DT was not being addressed .. well Elway came though so I will stop not believing even if I have to bite my bottom lip off .

Just in Denver man. Never been big into the whole political scene. Lived in both big time Republican and Democrat areas of the country and while I admire their passion can't really agree with either fully so just try to nod my head and move on to bigger and better things.

And yes definitely ready for Free Agency to get here in about a month actually! Hate these dark days of football where there just isn't much to talk about.

I've got your back, CD. This is where I specialize: coming up with trivia charged things to keep us occupied until bigger news on the season arrives (or better yet, the season itself).

Appreciate it man. I actually get into by busy season here pretty soon with soccer, golf, and camps starting up in the next month so won't be around as much. Glad to see the board will not be neglected.
