Yeah, and then he pulled himself out of an NFC championship game and cried like a little bitch when he was (correctly) criticized by other players for both the act of leaving the game and his terrible attitude after.
The biggest bullshit story. Cutler wasn’t a good qb and he underachieved with his talent. His personality was annoying but he was a tough sob. The dude took a beating almost his entire career and never once bitched about it. He had a legit mcl tear. Listening to mjd, Stephen A, Trent dilfer, etc rip him was embarrassing.

He should stay retired because he's in the perfect role right now. I feel no shame in saying that I very much enjoy watching him do Jay Cutler type shit on Very Cavallari. Cutler was born to be a reality TV star

Even if it was legit, and he couldn't have gone back in (it was a sprain not a tear),

Bears' Cutler suffered MCL sprain vs. Packers

He could have at least acted better instead of being his usual sack of shit self on the bench.

He complained plenty. He actually said "Tell Mike fuck you" about Martz's blocking scheme.

Mcl grade 2 sprain is a tear. When you have no stability in your knee there is no way to play qb effectively. Several doctors and former players totally ripped Schlereth, Trent dilfer, and mjd for being completely wrong. Media didn’t find that worthy to report though because it didn’t draw the narrative espn employees were pushing. The funny thing is I hated cutler here but this is the one thing I will fully stand up for him on

Cutler did not appear to have any passion for the game, like he'll do what he can but doesn't care if he wins or loses.

He's not someone who can fire up a team in an adverse situation and grit it out for a win.

Its just not there.
Sounds like a perfect fit for Cincy and Marvin Lewis to me.

Just noticed where Cutler is unsigned? He should be starting somewhere. Damn, I almost feel like making a poster and marching . I always thought of him as the second best QB in the NFL in any given year.

Cutler is a talent, but his starting days are starting to grow thin. If you have a great OL and good weapons...he can win you 9 games, but to expect anything more is risky.

Teams are willing to go cheaper at the position.

As a backup...yeah, Cutler should be on a squad, but I'm not thinking he wants to play for back up money anymore...not sure.

Fair enough. His entire demeanor during the second half of that game, sulking and being a baby, along with his reputation for being a dick didn't help him get the benefit of the doubt.

Is this thread a big troll?
Does anyone really believe Cutler should be starting for an NFL team?

I can't tell if this thread is serious or a joke. But in case it's semi-serious I think the answer is obvious. How many more teams who got excited about his talented arm does he need to disappoint with his constant game killing picks before the message is clear. He is out of the league because teams are no longer fooled, just as they bailed on Geoff Jorge despite his arm and talent.

Cleveland should sign him. They will need him by week 7 after all of their current QBs are out for the season with career threatening knee injuries.
