I personally view Arron Afflalo as a modern-day Allan Houston. Is he the guy that gets the team back on track this season?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-O-eDFsdNs]Press Conference: Arron Afflalo Introduction - YouTube[/ame]

This could prove to be a contract year for Afflalo, who can opt out in 2015. Waiting in the wings behind him is one of my fellow born-Hoosiers, Gary Harris.

Meanwhile, rookie Erick Green takes over after the departure of Aaron Brooks. He and Randy Foye will back up Ty Lawson at the point.

Health of Lawson, Gallinari, and McGee are also big keys for this season, as well as the continued development of Kenneth Faried. Hopefully his performance for Team USA will be a sign of things to come...

West is so stacked. Them and the Pelicans are both really talented but both probably miss the playoffs.

Just about everyone has Dallas as a "given" in the West Playoff picture, but I'm not as sold on the Mavs as many others. Sure Chandler Parsons is a pretty face but he's a downgrade from Carter and Marion in terms of veteran saavy and defensive prowess.

I have Denver as the #6 seed if everyone stays healthy, albeit a big "if".

I don't have them improving more than 10 games in the west, which still misses the playoffs out there.

They won't even sniff the playoffs.

What's the :lol:for? Back up your claim or else I'll assume someone is jealous Brian Shaw ain't the coach of their team.

Because yeah, how can we possibly compete with the greatness that is Jeremy Lin and Jordan Hill?:L

If it's indeed not about the Lakers, then why don't you just answer my original question of what your post was about, chicken little.

Your trash talk is just awful.

Much like the nuggets team in general. That's all that needs saying.

And since you had to bring the Lakers into it, I'll say this: the lakers' 2nd unit is better that the nuggets first team.

You do know they get Gallanari back right? If he's healthy along with Lawson, Afflalo and Faried that's actually a pretty solid core.

Anyone who thinks the Nuggets are terrible knows nothing about basketball.

Roster is loaded and added Afflalo in FA and also drafted Gary Harris out of Michigan State.

Team can easily be a playoffs team if they stay relatively healthy

Yeah I have no clue why Shaqdaddy thinks they're so bad. Last year they were decimated with injuries. They did win 57 games and get the 3rd seed the season before last with virtually the same team they have now sooo...

Also, saying the Lakers second unit is better than Denver's first unit might be nominated for most retarded statement of the year. It's a strong candidate.

They were always a good team with similar rosters since Melo left. They would have still won 50+ games with or without Iggy. The previous year (lockout year) they finished 38-28 and was on pace to finished with about 50 wins and got the 6 seed that year. The year before that they went 50-32 and got the 5th seed out West. Let's not make it seem like the reason they struggled last year was because Iggy left. Last year they struggled because of injuries.

Lawson, Chandler, Hickson, Nate, McGee, & Gallo missed 250 combined games last year.

Pretty sure if those guys missed only 50 games instead of 250 games, they probably make the playoffs

LOL each one our nine best players is better than his team's second-best player.

I'd take Randy Foye on my team over Carlos Boozer any day at this point. Who wouldn't? Foye even plays defense.

Maybe someday we'll see Shaqdaddy make some actual analysis and not just some blanket statement as usual.

Letting Massai Ujiri walk without a fight was the biggest mistake they made after that season IMO.

Best GM currently in basketball by far.
