How do you feel about Subway?

I have never eaten at Subway and left satisfied with my meal.

I think of eating at Subway kind of like I think of riding the NYC subways...Which means, only if i REALLY have to, which is pretty much never...The only times I had eaten there in the past, left very unhappy...Even with "double meat" it was still a skimpy, boring, pretty much flavorless sandwich...

If someone gave you a piece of cardboard and gave you the options of covering it in shit, puke or mucus, you technically got to pick what's on it, but I wouldn't want to put it in my mouth.

Nope, but I can get a better sandwich at the same price or less at about a dozen places no further from my house than Subway.

I usually just like to buy my own stuff and make my own, but that doesn't make Subway taste worse.

I guess according to the internet, I keep all these businesses in business because everyone else claims to hate them.

I personally think the main gripe with subway(at least for me and from what I see from others)is what you get for the money. As a professional Chef, I can of course make my own...But when I'm not in the mood, I can get a nice, stuffed, tasty sandwich(also made the way I want)at the "upscale" grocery store near me for $5.99. As a Chef, my personal philosophy is to try not to yuck someone elses yum, and in a pinch, Subway can suffice...
