How big is Tool exactly?

Man, not to bag on a band but most of their songs sounds exactly the same.

This is true of most artists. They'll have their 'sound' throughout their career. But if you listen to tool's first and latest albums, it sounds like two different bands.

#1 in 2018 was Godsmack, 2017 was Stone Sour, and 2016 was Volbeat. Are you arguing for or against Tool?

I'm saying they're going to have the best song of the year in mainstream rock. The current number one is Glorious Sons unless Tool already supplanted them. Tool will be there until December at least. Only songs I see challenging in December is the new Green Day one and Attention Attention (because it's Shinedown, active darlings).
