I'm here sink or swim. Just thought we'd get a better Dutch tonight...you know, with it being like the BIGGEST GAME OF THE SEASON and all.

This is just one game...yes an important game but it's just as important if not more for Houston. And guess what there's till 2 more games with them after tonight and 3 more later on in Houston. That's just playoff baseball at this point.

So no this is NOT by any stretch of the imagination the biggest game of the season.

I'd say, with first place in the division on the line, and a couple of tough pitching matchups upcoming, that this game IS the biggest game of the season...so far. Of course, there will likely, hopefully, be bigger ones.

But hey I'm living in the moment.

He shows decent to good plate discipline IMO. It's just his contact rate is so poor. At least it seems so anyway. Have no stats whatsoever to back this up.

I think banny conceded the loss already tomorrow.

No way does any manager "concede" a loss, in advance, when you're trying to win the division, and you're playing the team on top.

I concur. Here's a guy who is young enough, he'll probably get better at all of the aforementioned, has good speed (for a man his size especially), and if he can deal with it all mentally, he'll be fine.

Taking him out is what is best for the team right now. This is not the Holland we saw a couple games ago. Closer to the last game Holland. We have a good BP that we need to give them a chance to take it home.
