Josh Smith was always solid in the playoffs for the Hawks, IIRC.

Dallas might get swept. They look so much better on paper than anything they put on the floor. lol at Boston overrating their role players. First Al Jefferson, then Perkins, now Rondo. It really was just a big 3.

I 100% disagree with this. he literally gave away 2 games against the bulls in 2011 by himself. he loves chucking outside shots and bricking them off the backboard

Yeah, forget I said anything. I think I remember him having a 2-3 game stretch where he was good. His playoff career as a whole is pretty abysmal.

I looked it up. He has been good in the playoffs for 1 year in his 11 years of NBA experience. Josh Smith is probably going to cost Houston at some point.

Seriously, when was the last time Rondo gave real effort? 2010? He's such a self centered player. If a coach or player doesn't bend to how he thinks things should be done, he checks out.

Dallas' best 2 players on the court last night were JJ Berea and Aminu. That's not exactly a recipe for success.

Supposed to be best 5 players: Dirk, Chandler, Rondo, Ellis, & Parsons all either had very sub-par games or missed the game with injury.

Sad times in DFW. Heading in to this series, most people were relieved that we didn't have to play San Antonio in round 1 and felt pretty good about Dallas' chances vs Houston. The glaring defensive deficiencies are just killing the Mavs this series tho. What I thought might be a 6-7 game series is looking more like a 4-5 gamer.

Also, pretty great that dallas traded for Rondo mid season and completely messed up their team chemistry in the process. He's been a great help for them this series...

Nothing about the Mavs impresses me. I'll be at game 3 Friday, row 11 off the court. Really don't care - i'm taking clients.. I don't expect Dallas to win a game in this series.

For as smart as Cuban is, he needs to hire someone to help him with personnel decisions.

Houston has the offense flowing perfectly.
Dallas is seemingly incapable of playing defense versus anyone.

The two worst shooter are just sitting there as perfect opportunities to change the HOU offense,
Even if Howard or J-Smoov hits a few, it totally disrupts the flow....and they wont for an entire series

Smith is even more likely than guys like Howard or Jordan to completely check out of a game if you do it.

I just keep telling myself they will in hopes that A) It's a reverse jinx and they won't do it or B) to hopefully lessen such a painful blow.

But I can totally see a headline in July being "Rondo signs with LA; 3 years 15 mil per". Infinite facepalms.
