Clearly, you haven't been to LA. Outlaw definitely has a leg to stand on. No one talks about the Clippers. The sports talk station that I listen to the most happens to also be the station that broadcasts Clippers games. Even on that station, no one talks about the Clippers. The only talk I've heard about them on that station has been since the playoffs started and even then, it was only about whether or not they should blow it up if they have another early exit.

One of the shows that I listen to on there tried to have a "no Lakers talk" day. If memory serves, it lasted about 15 minutes.

When the Lakers were really, really bad (Short Buss still President of Basketball Operations and Byron coaching) all of the talk was about how to fix the Lakers, not how good the Clippers are. Then, when they got Luke, it was how Luke was the first step in getting them turned around. Since Magic and Pelinka took over, all of the talk has been about how they will finally fix the Lakers.

The same station also broadcasts Dodgers games. Even during the playoffs, when there is a conflict between a Dodgers game and a Clippers game, the Clippers game gets bumped to the "sister station."

That's why I've said all along that the dumbest move Donald Sterling ever made, besides being a racist POS, was not taking the City of Anaheim and the Arrowhead Pond (now the Honda Center) up on their offer when they were all but begging the Clippers to relocate there. They could have had their own niche instead of being the red headed stepchild playing in the same building as the Lakers.

Yeah, the Clippers prob., imo isn't CP3. They're just a team of talented, but ill fitting pieces. That's fine in the regular season when they can win games simply because they are more talented than most teams and it's one game and move on to the next one. But it doesn't work in the playoffs when facing similarly talented teams with better fitting pieces in a 7 game series where teams can just focus on the Clips.
