Its not a good perfomance, but I'd save appalling for a different kind of performance, 17-5 to the BoSox was appalling, this 4-0 game is not

I'm meaning the total team effort...we have Yu on the mound against the worst team in baseball, and we know that our main competition has already lost...and to show up playing like this in my mind is.....appalling. At least the Red Sox drubbing was a rookie pitcher being outmatched on the road against a good hitting team...
