I honestly thought going into tonights contest this was a "really key game" to what happens next, mentally, season wise.

This was a "GUT CHECK" and team win all the way.....I'm impressed.

For some reason this year they have had him throw more breaking pitches but that sinker is a killer at 97 mph. I keep wanting to see more of that. Glad he went with it there at crunch time.

With Dyson unavailable and Yu likely still on a pitch limit, we might have to steal an inning from a spare like Wilhelmsen or Ramos tomorrow before we get to Bush and Barnette to close it out (assuming we need a closer). Maybe the Ranger bats will go crazy tomorrow and we can end the game comfortably with our mop-up guys.
