Clever. But I am glad that overblown previous SS for the Yankees is retired.Rangers return home riding Roogie's hot bat to face the Yanks.
My second choice for headline was going to be: "Yankees in town ahead of Cole Hamels' impending arrival" but I think we're all pretty sick of that at this point.
He menions Martin as 4th OF. Gomez and DDJ can play center thus doing away with Martin. IMOJust rumor but thought I would pass it on. It also mentions trading Choo in the off season.

Hopefully Harry keeps progressing and the velo starts to tick up, would be great to see him improve on his last outing.
I don't think you'll see a big uptick in his velocity till he's had a chance to gain some muscle back in the gym this winter.
Do you think that happens? What are his chances of returning to his pre-back injury form in your estimation? I would have doubted it before, but he has far surpassed what I thought he could do so I am not sure just how far he can come back myself. He has surprised me so much I don't know what to think. It would be a great story and it would really help the rotation in 2016.I don't think you'll see a big uptick in his velocity till he's had a chance to gain some muscle back in the gym this winter.

Exactly as long as Choo is here and even jf Choo is gone Rua is availableI agree. Especially if Hamilton is still upright and with the team. Wouldn't he be our 4th OF?

If he was pitching for the Yankees or Red Sox or someone like that it would be a much bigger story. I have gotten where I just do not watch any major sports news outlets anymore. And if he finishes the year he deserves comeback player of the year. What he has had to overcome has to exceed any others this year and like it was said this is uncharted territory. Many comebacks are down the same path as many other players before them such as TJ surgery. This would be a story-of-stories if he were to actually make it all the way back, and become a contributor again. And I'm not talking about him as a #2 either. If he could just come back and garner the #4 spot, it would be a minor miracle.
But as far as the rest of this season is concerned, I'm expecting to see 2 steps forward one back, 1 step forward 2 back, from outing to outing. Between the injury (s) and time off, my hope for him is to show some progress over the next few months, and not get hurt again. Now that would be truly awful.

For what it's worth, I will take the production and salary combination that we got from ARod anytime. As the years have gone by he has become a miserable person, but as far as what he gave us on the diamond I think he was a great acquisition.
