Phillies need a LH hitter. Howard (.224) and Brown (.202) are pathetic right now. This is a serious gap and it can't be easily corrected soon. They could try a platoon and get Ruf in the lineup. Ruf can be horrible too, striking out 1/3 of the time.

There are a lot of inconsistent players on this roster and the Phils don't have many options for bringing players in. This year is going to simply suck as I stated way back at the bginning of the year.
