Coach Hop got a contract extension thru 2025 season. Well deserved.

First time in the tournament since '11 and got a win to boot. Not too shabby.

I mean they have no chance at all against NC, but this ride was pretty good.

Solid talent coming in and a few kids looking to get play time now that have real potential.

It's a great turn around in 2yrs. I didn't think we be seeing a tourny berth for a few more years lets alone a first round win. Come Sunday these kids have nothing to lose so hopefully they can come out on fire and take it to UNC.

But I bet recruits haven't missed that. Combine that with getting players to the NBA draft. Yep, the program has moved to the next level compared to the Romar era.

You’re proabably a little ahead of yourself. Romar had some really good teams for a good 5 or so years. I think Hopkins will get there, but they’re not even on par with Romars peak.

The Romar era was good up until the year the Huskies won the Pac title and then got bounced in the Pac semis I believe, and being left out of the tourny which most national pundits called it BS. After that, IMO Romar loved his players but seemed to have lost that fire in him to coach. He just didn't seem like the same coach we were used to seeing in the past.
